There are a couple of reasons why this call peaked my interest. I feel the older I become, the heavier life gets and you start to see more problems with society, norms, and how people a generally treated. Living through covid in Cap Hill really turned my attention to homelessness and the repeated problem people just want to wish away. The social issue my art will address the serious problem of homelessness and how people treat it as if it were an "out of sight, out of mind," problem.
